My first full time job was with Dormeuil……from 1961 for several years.  The company was at the pinnacle of the textile industry and still are!  Experience with Dormeuil was your passport to the industry, in future years something of which I took great advantage.  The only reason this came to mind, fifty years later, is that a dear friend asked me to write a piece about the few years I spent living in Paris.  Dormeuil was the reason I was in Paris and for that matter London and Dusseldorf.  The link above is a “Corporate Clip.”  Oh how they’ve changed!!  In my years you’d have thought you were living in the shadow of the Pre-revolution French Aristocracy……but that’s another story.
